Blue Bird Bistro is a cozy little cafe serving local, organic food. Went there for lunch on a Sunday and it was lovely. I had the Blue Bird Benedict -- bison sausage and poached eggs on polenta. It was excellent -- food tasted fresh and full of flavor. Then menu is fairly small, but has several vegetarian options and is overall very healthy. They were out of tofu, so that was disappointing. But it is a charming, unique place with fresh food. They also occasionally have five-course special meals where you can dine with guest farmers.
