Details
Housed in a former railroad station just north of Kansas City’s historic Union Station, Lidia’s features a daily tasting of fresh, seasonal filled pastas, imported Italian dry pastas, risotto, and polenta dishes. Diners can have their plates refilled as often as they like by servers carrying pans of freshly cooked pasta through the dining room. The menu also includes entrees such as roasted veal shank with fresh orange and carrot juices, grilled salmon with a zesty chive-mustard sauce, or vegetable-stuffed chicken thighs braised in tomato. Lidia’s also offers two wine lists: one with wines at $28 a bottle, and another with premium vintages.
