Don't let a little rain keep you from taking in Kansas City's events this weekend.
Thursday night, throw back a few brews for penguins at the Zoo or get your bluegrass fix at the Midland. Friday, grease your wheels for Knuckleheads' Gear Grinders or head to Cap Fed Park for a garage rock explosion. Take in some fine art on Saturday, with a charity concert from the Metropolitan Chorale of Kansas City or a performance from the Dance Theater of Harlem. Sunday morning, run a race for a good cause, then sleep it off before watching Gary Senise and the Lt. Dan Band perform covers or head downtown for some trippy, historical interpretive dance.

You better be! Steve Martin was great last night, though. So hilarious and great banjo-ing.
