Anyone who "likes" KCFreePress.com or TheFinderKC.com on Facebook, or follows us on Twitter will be entered into a series of drawings for great Apple® products, including iPods®, iPhones® and an iPad®.
To sweeten the deal - and give back to Kansas City in the process - each Apple® prize will be accompanied by a Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Giving Card of equal value to the prize. So if you're a winner, in addition to getting a tech treat, you'll get to choose a local organization you want to support.
Starting May 24, we'll be giving out a new prize every week day, culminating with our grand prize on Friday, June 4: an iPad® and a $500 GKCCF Giving Card.

This competition is offered by BIGSHOT Publishing and is open to anyone who is at least 16 years of age and who has a permanent mailing address within a 30 mile radius of the KCFreePress.com office, 524 Walnut Street, Kansas City, Mo., 64106. Employees and agents of BIGSHOT Publishing and/or its affiliated companies and family members of such employees are not eligible to enter. Minors who have an entry that is selected as a winner must submit a release form signed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian before BIGSHOT Publishing will arrange to have the prize delivered. The release form will be provided by BIGSHOT Publishing.
The open period for submission of eligible entries to the competition giveaway will close at noon on Friday, June 4. Anyone who has “liked” KCFreePress.com or TheFinderKC.com on Facebook, or become a follower of either KCFreePress.com or TheFinderKC.com on Twitter before the drawing for each prize will be eligible. Each participant can only win one prize.
Ten prizes will be available. One prize winner will be announced each day on May 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 31; and June 1, 2, 3 and 4. Winners will be chosen by the end of the 24-hour period prior to the day the prize winner is announced, with the exception of the drawing for the grand prize, which will be open until noon Central time on June 4. Winners will be announced between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central time on the aforementioned dates.
The following items are the prizes: four (4) 2GB iPod Shuffles® plus accompanying $60 Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Giving Card; one (1) 8GB iPod Touch® plus accompanying $200 Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Giving Card; four (4) iPhones® (model 3G, retail price $99 with contract) plus accompanying $100 Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Giving Card. (Please note: BIGSHOT Publishing will only pay for the cost associated with the iPhone® 3G itself — it will not assume any responsibility for the contract with AT&T. Participants who would prefer not to enter into a contract with AT&T can choose instead to take a $100 Apple® giftcard as a substitute prize); and one (1) 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad® plus accompanying $500 Greater Kansas City Community Foundation Giving Card. BIGSHOT Publishing will purchase the Apple® prizes on the winners’ behalf and have them shipped directly to them.
Winners must be able to prove ownership of the winning entry and provide a valid shipping address. BIGSHOT Publishing will inform participants that they have a winning entry via the channel through which the winning entry was submitted, and through that channel only. (So, the owner of a winning entry that was submitted via a Tweet will be informed that he or she has won via Twitter). To claim their prize, winners must respond to the notice given by BIGSHOT Publishing within five business days. If a prize winner has not responded to the notice that he or she had a winning entry within five business days, a new drawing will be held for the prize, and the owner of the entry that was originally selected as the winner will have forfeited all rights to said prize.
BIGSHOT Publishing will put in the orders for the prizes within 31 days of the competition closing date.

• Following KCFreePress.com on Twitter.
• Following TheFinderKC.com on Twitter.
• Posting a tweet that links to the contest landing page. (You must make sure to use the hashtag #KCFP so that the activity can be tracked).
• Posting a link to KCFreePress.com or TheFinderKC.com on your blog or personal Web site (to be eligible, these links must be documented using the form on our content landing page).
Eligible participants can have up to six entries (One entry for each of the categories above. Participants can only submit one entry per category).
Entrants' personal details will be used by BIGSHOT Publishing strictly in accordance with KCFreePress.com’s privacy policy.
Neither BIGSHOT Publishing nor its affiliated companies shall have any liability for (i) any technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (ii) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; (iii) any malfunction of or damage to the prizes; or (iv) any restrictions or delays imposed by any customs authorities or any import or other taxes of any kind imposed by any taxation authority in respect of the prizes.
